The year of 2024 marks the arrival of 5th generation, a new era of the K-Pop scene. Some new faces were introduced in the first quarter of 2024. One of them is ILLIT, a new girl group produced by Belift Lab, a company affiliated with HYBE.
Their debut was anticipated with such a euforia. Fans believe ILLIT would be a new phenomenon, following the success of their seniors like BTS, TXT and NewJeans.
Let's get to know ILLIT by learning some facts about them.
The name ILLIT (I'll It) stands for I Will Be It. The name symbolizes the philosophy of dream and optimism.
The group consists of five members with mix nationalities, namely Yunah, Minju, Wonhee (Korean), then Moka and Iroha (Japanese).
They debuted in March 25th with the single 'Magnetic'. Recently the MV reaches more than 24 million views on HYBE Labels YouTube Channel.
ILLIT was formed from the survival program, R U Next? as collaboration project by JTBC and HYBE
